On Saturday, November 14, 2020 Awesome Ambitions kicked off its Personal Health Pillar with Chioma Atanmo from Mindful Appetite. Chioma created Mindful Appetite to teach people how to have a healthy relationship with food and their body again through building mindful habits. With 8+ years of experience, Chioma provides 1:1 wellness coaching, she is a health and wellness advisor to organizations, she is a speaker, writer, mentor, and content creator.

The Personal Health Pillar will focus on the importance of physical, emotional, and mental health and steps the Awesome Ambitions Girls can take to become the healthiest version of themselves. Chioma led a wonderful presentation on “Building A Healthy Relationship with Your Body and Food”. Our Awesome girls learned about the importance of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats and how nutrition energizes the body and positively affects your mood. Chioma also led a group discussion on how to live a healthy and balanced life, provided tips to simplifying healthy eating and emphasized the importance of developing positive mindsets and thoughts about food.
